The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (KADK) provides artistically and academically based education in architecture, design, conservation and restoration at the highest level. Founded in 2011, it resulted from the merger of the Academy's School of Architecture, the Danish Design School, and the Academy's School of Conservation. Today it trains 1,600 students through undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education programmes. The academy combines research, practice, and artistic innovation, aiming to pass on Nordic values and train graduates who will shape the future, society and cultural heritage.
