The Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine (Kiev Conservatory) is described as one of the best music academies in the world. It achieved a place among the top 100 performing arts universities in the QS World University Rankings 2026 and became a leader among arts universities in the H-index Ranking 2026. The academy has a faculty of history and theory of music and composition, and it also enrolls foreign students. It took part in the international art project 'Art Unites Ukraine'. It is also referred to as UNTAM. As a national academy, it is a public institution.
