Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is an Indonesian university founded in 1920, originally as Technische Hoogeschool te Bandoeng. It has a 105-year history and recently launched a museum to commemorate its journey. ITB is involved in research and innovation, including smart backpack technology for rattan cultivation, modular earthquake-resistant bamboo houses, and community-based projects like 'chicken-maggot apartments' for organic waste processing. It has multiple campuses in Bandung, Jatinangor, and Cirebon. The university welcomed 8,945 new students in a recent admission cycle.
