Adamson University is a Catholic, Vincentian university located in the heart of Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1932 by Greek chemist Dr. George Lucas Adamson as the Adamson School of Industrial Chemistry. The institution became a university in 1941 and was acquired by the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians) in 1964. Its flagship program is Engineering, but all programs across its nine colleges are supported by accrediting bodies, an Autonomous Status, and ISO 9001:2015 certification. The university continuously upgrades equipment and facilities, invests in faculty development, strengthens research, and institutionalizes outreach services while maintaining affordable tuition. Adamson has internationalized through admission of foreign students, partnerships, ASEAN integration, and alumni chapters worldwide. It aims to be an agent of personal and social transformation.
